It's a mind boggling game and celeb watchers had better guard their sanity over this duo. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, that is. When tattle buzzes the mediavine that their relationship has hit Splitsville, the duo comes up with a show of romantic solidarity!

Case in point: Salman Khan's 45 th b'day (Dec 27, 2010).

Katrina showed up diligently, much earlier, on X'mas night to shower b'day wishes on her "close friend and advisor", as she knew there were professional commitments on Dec 27, which would keep her away. After all the talk that Salman's digs at Ranbir Kapoor and her poor command over Hindi in the 'Bigg Boss 4' show drove Kat to tears, the actress sashayed into Galaxy Apartments in suburban Mumbai, even as eyeballs popped and heads turned crazily.

States a highly placed source, "Katrina paid a visit late in the evening, met up with Salman to wish him on his b'day. They hugged each other and had a blast bonding with each other, Katrina ate some food and they spent about one and a half hours with each other, and then she left."

Adds the insider, "By the looks of it, nothing seemed to be wrong with their relationship and Katrina seems to be quite close to the Khan family even now. When it was time to leave Salman escorted her all the way to her car and stood waving till her car zoomed off…
