Zarine Khan does dance number in Salman's "Ready"

Zarine Khan Who looks alike of Katrina Kaif. Who post her debut in Veer, the actress had been missing from action for a while but then announced her cameo in the under-production film Ready.
Ready which stars Salman Khan, Paresh Rawal, Asin and Arya Babbar.This Movie is being produced by Bhushan Kumar and Rajat Rawail will also feature Zarine. Initially, though it was said that the actress would only be seen in a small part in the film, now we've learnt that it's not just a cameo but she is also all set to boogie in the film.

Zarine will be seen in a glamorous dance number with co-star Salman Khan; she has already shot for a dance number with Sallu over three days in various Bangkok clubs. Further the said dance number has been choreographed by Mudassar Khan and Raju Khan. Ready meanwhile readies itself for release on June 3rd.

Bollywood Stars descend at Bryan Adams Live Concert in Mumbai

Preity Zinta, Rani Mukherjee, Deepika Padukone, Arshad Warsi, Madhavan, Bobby Deol, Rajkumar Hirani, Suniel Shetty,Shaan, Leander Paes, Raveena Tandon and other celebrates were present at the Bryan Adams concert in Mumbai.

The stage was huge, with two massive screens adorning each of its side and one behind him, for the comfort of those who couldn’t catch a meaty glimpse of the 51-year-old, who rocked as if he truly believes in "18 till I die!"

He sang around 20 songs including “Let’s make a night to remember”, “Please forgive me”, “How do ya feel tonight” - but the audience didn’t seem to have had enough of him. They went berserk as Adans sang “Summer of 69” and asked the audience to sing in between. But even a breather between two songs by Adams sent the crowd chanting ‘Bryan, Bryan, Bryan’!

Dhobi Ghat to release in Germany

We all know that Bollywood films have a huge market in the overseas and this has proved to be beneficial to debutante director Kiran Rao whose film Dhobi Ghat was picked up by German distributors Rapid Eye Movies. They will be releasing the film in German theaters later this year.

Dhobi Ghat is the story of four people from different backgrounds, whose worlds intersect and leave them forever altered. As they find themselves drawn into compelling relationships, the city finds its way into the crevices of their lives, separating them even as it brings them closer. The film which was screened last year at the Toronto International Film Festival met with critical acclaim and also garnered rave reviews back home.

The deal is said to include theatrical distribution rights, home video rights and free TV rights. What's more is that the producer of the film Aamir Khan, is currently on the jury at the Berlin Film Festival.

Katrina Kaif signed up for Dhoom3

The news of Aamir Khan being roped in to play the villain in Dhoom 3 was a rage last week. However, the big question since then has been, who will be signed as the lead actress opposite him. Though a number of names were being tossed around by the media, Bollywood Today has learnt from its sources that Katrina Kaif will be playing the female lead in Dhoom 3.

Katrina, who is currently doing YRF's Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, has beaten the other contenders to clinch the role.

Though the rest of the cast, namely Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra remains unchanged, Aamir and Katrina's addition to the cast certainly heats things up. Considering the chemistry between Aamir and Katrina, the duo has put all questions to rest, with their photographic rendition of the classic film Pyaasa that garnered positive response from fans and industry folk alike.

Bollywood Today has also learnt from its sources that Aamir won't be charging his usual fee for D: 3. Instead, he will have a stake in the profits of the film. To be precise Aamir will have a total of 33% stake in the profits of the film. This will be the first time that YRF has permitted such sharing. However, though this may be a first for the production house, Aamir has cut down his share from the usual 40% that he had for the film 3 Idiots.

When we contacted, Rafiq Gangjee from YRF replied, "The casting for the girls of Dhoom3 has not started. Also, YRF does not discuss artist contracts and agreements."

While Aamir's publicist said, "The 33% profit sharing ratio is not true, besides we do not have any profit sharing ratio with YRF as such. While on the remuneration i will not comment."

While Yash Raj Films refrains to comment on this, we can safely bet that with Katrina being signed on for Dhoom: 3, and Aamir adding another shade to the film with his talent, the high octane torque film promises to be more than just fast bikes.

Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor most wanted celebs for Valentine's Day date

Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor have topped a list of Bollywood actors with whom young boys and girls respectively would like to go on a Valentine's Day date, while Shahid Kapoor was declared the sexiest male star in a poll by a movie portal.

Ranbir received 39.4 percent votes, while Shahid followed close on the heels with 37.7 percent votes from female fans. Imran Khan, who recently tied the knot with Avantika Malik, is on number three with 15.9 percent votes. The minimum votes were cast in favour of Ranveer Singh of 'Band Baaja Baaraat' fame and dimpled boy Abhay Deol, who rounded up the top five with 4.5 and 2.5 percent votes respectively.
Among the females, Katrina took away the lion's share with 35.6 percent of the votes. The second most wanted Bollywood girl, according to the poll, is Deepika Padukone at 22.4 votes, followed by Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor with 17.5, 12.4 and 12.1 votes respectively.
The poll was conducted with over 2,500 respondents from Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai.

The respondents were also asked to choose the sexiest man in Bollywood, and Shahid Kapoor walked away with the title, leaving behind the likes of John Abraham, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan and even Salman Khan.

When Kangana Ranaut stayed at Delhi University hostel

She never went to college, but Kangana Ranaut got the chance to enjoy campus life when she stayed in a Delhi University hostel to prepare for her role in the romantic comedy 'Tanu Weds Manu'.

In the film, Kangana plays a resident student of Delhi University. The 23-year-old stayed at the PG Women's Hostel in 2009. The producers arranged for her stay and took the required measures to protect her identity.

"The character of Tanu is rooted in Delhi University. I stayed there and it helped me in my performance. Till date I am thankful to the girl who hosted me and was my roommate. We ended up becoming friends," Kangana, who started working at the age of 16, said.

Directed by Anand Rai, 'Tanu Weds Manu' will release Feb 25. R. Madhavan plays Kangana's love interest in the film.

Aamir Khan signed to Dhoom3

Now its Aamir's turn to be the villain of Dhoom After John Abrahim and Hritik Roshan.In the first part of Dhoom John played negative role and in Dhoom2 Hritik was the villian. 

Dhoom, India's version of the hi-octane thriller films is one of the most successful series in Bollywood. The much talked about third part of Dhoom has finally got the booster shot it needed. It is now official that Aamir Khan will be playing the villain in Dhoom: 3.

Confirming this Aamir says, "It is indeed a pleasure to be working with Yashji and Adi once again. Dhoom is a great franchise, most entertaining and full of fun. Every time I hear the theme tune of Dhoom it brings a swing to my step. Victor's script really won me over and I look forward to working with him."

Says producer Yash Chopra, "It's a great pleasure to have Aamir working with YRF once again. It's even more special that he will be doing Dhoom: 3. I am terribly excited with what an actor like Aamir will bring to the Dhoom franchise with his unique star power and level of performance. Adi and Victor have worked over a year to bring out, what I can now confidently say, is possibly one of the best scripts coming out of YRF and I am sure that with Aamir and Adi together, they will both create magic to give our audience one of the most exciting films they have ever seen."

Coming to the rest of the cast, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will be seen in their previous avatars of Jai Dixit and Ali respectively.

Produced by Aditya Chopra, Dhoom 3 will be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. Vijay is the writer of all three Dhoom films and has also directed Tashan.

The film will begin shooting end of this year and is slated for a 2012 Christmas release.

Salman Khan with Miss Universe2010 Ximena Navarrete in 'Partner 2'

Miss Universe 2010 Ximena Navarrete who is an ardent fan of Bollywood hunk Salman Khan is going to make Bollywood debut in David Dhawan’s new film, Partner 2 opposite Salman.


The Mexican beauty is on a 10 day tour to India to promote designer Sanjana Jon's Celebrate The Girl Child Campaign. A reliable industry source reveals, Ximena will romance Salman Khan in the Partner sequel. The makers were looking for the female lead in the film and felt that Ximena fits the bill but she will have to learn Hindi and some Bollywood dance moves for her role.


The model recently met Salman and has already started taking lessons in Hindi. The New York-based fashion designer Sanjana Jon will style her clothes for the film.


Sanjana, who is close to both Salman and Ximena, has been instrumental in making this happen. Ximena in an interview said that she is a huge fan of Salman Khan and also expressed her desire to work in Bollywood.

Shahid Kapoor finds in Priyanka Chopra's home

Income Tax officers, who went to raid Priyanka Chopra's home yesterday morning, were in for a surprise when they were greeted by Shahid Kapoor clad only in his shorts.
For a moment, they thought they had knocked the wrong door. Apparently, Shahid left the house soon after.


"Shahid was at Priyanka's house, but he didn't open the door. She has servants, so why would he open the door? Shahid had spent the night at Priyanka's place and she had come from walking the ramp at a fashion show for Shabana Azmi. The two are trying to spend as much time together before Priyanka starts the promotions for her movie Saat Khoon Maaf," said a source close to Shahid.

"Shocked as we were, we knew we had a raid to carry out and that's precisely what we did. It was meant to be a swift operation and security personnel in the building were not given a chance to warn the actor that we were on the way up," said an I-T official.
Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor were unavailable for comment."If I woke up as Priyanka Chopra one day, I would wonder what I was doing in Shahid Kapoor's bedroom and then walk over to my flat in the next wing," actor Shahid Kapoor had famously said on a popular chat show barely a month ago. Hrithik Roshan unveils his wax figure at Madame Tussauds[London]

Hrithik Roshan on Thursday came face-to-face with his wax figure at Madame Tussauds in London. In homage to one of his most famous roles in the 2006 hit 'Dhoom: 2', he is shown in a short-sleeved, unbuttoned shirt, showcasing his famous toned body.

"I can't believe I'm here in Madame Tussauds unveiling a wax figure of myself. It's incredible just how detailed the figure is - they've really captured my look. I'm truly honoured to be included and hope my fans will like seeing the figure," Hrithik said in a statement.

The actor, who has hits like 'Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai', 'Dhoom:2', 'Krrish' and 'Jodhaa Akbar', among others, under his belt is the youngest male actor from India to be honoured by the prestigious Madame Tussauds wax museum.

Roshan was completely involved in the creation of the figure. He attended two sittings in Mumbai and London where sculptors captured a catalogue of reference photographs and hundreds of precise measurements. Hirthik also donated the red shirt and dark blue jeans his figure is wearing, a source said.

The figure took four months to make at a cost of 150,000 pounds and joins fellow Indian film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in the special Bollywood section of the museum.

To coincide with the launch of Hrithik's new figure, a new interactive touch screen display was also installed in the area, where guests can watch the dance moves of five Bollywood icons.

"We're delighted to welcome Hrithik and his family here today and to be including his figure in our Bollywood area. It is one of our most popular areas in the entire attraction and we know it's going to be even more so with Hrithik now featured in the lineup.

"The pose is so striking, it is sure to wow fans and get ladies' hearts aflutter. In fact, it has got to be one of the most daring figures we have ever created," public relations manager of Madame Tussauds Liz Edwards said.

"Peepli Live" out of Oscar

Bollywood's official entry Peepli Live is out the Oscar race. The Aamir Khan-produced film is not in the list of nine movies selected for the next next round of voting in the Foreign Language Film category for the 83rd Academy Awards.According to a release by the Academy, the low-budget film by the perfectionist Khan of Bollywood - Aamir Khan did not make it to the final list of nominees.

Peepli Live, a satire on the Indian media, failed to impress the judges' panel at the Academy.

Peepli live had beaten films like Udaan and Rajneeti to become India's pick. The film has been directed by Anusha Rizvi and produced by Aamir Khan.

There Will Be No interval in "Dhobi Ghat"

Movie is realising on this Friday,This Movie is just 90-minute long, and therefore Aamir Khan's forthcoming film 'Dhobi Ghat' will be screened across the country without any interval.

Aamir personally visited the owners and managers of the multiplex chains. They've apparently now given it to him in writing that there would be no interval in the screenings of the movie.

Not just the multiplex chains and single theatres in Mumbai, Aamir has personally secured a similar never-before no-interval clause from theatres across India.


Directed by his wife Kiran Rao, the film is releasing Friday and stars Aamir in pivotal role along with Prateik Babbar.

Apparently the implementation of the no-intermission clause for 'Dhobi Ghat' will be closely monitored across the country. Errant theatres sneaking in samosa space into 'Dhobi Ghat' would be guilty of a breach of contract.

Siddharth Roy Kapur of UTV, the co-producers of 'Dhobi Ghat', confirms Aamir's firm stand on the mid-point issue.

"Aamir spoke to all the multiplexes and they agreed to no interval. 'Dhobi Ghat' is only 95 minutes long and structured to be watched in one sitting without an interval, so yes, the multiplexes have seen the wisdom of his logic," said Kapoor.

Aamir's close friend filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, who has been championing the cause of the abolition of the ritual, sees this as a big breakthrough in the process of guarding the creative sanctity of our films.

"Intervals are an unnatural brake applied in the middle of a film to sell samosas. There is no first-half and second-half in a film. This is an artificial division created purely to generate revenues through food sales," said Mehra.

Yana Gupta offered 1 crore to go nude
